African reggae pioneer
Tiken Jah Fakoly has been one of Africa’s most influencing artists for over 30 years. The Ivorian has been defending the oppressed in his reggae-songs ever since. All over the world arenas and concert halls have been singing along with his greatest hits such as Plus rien ne m’étonnes and Africain à Paris. No statue or monument could possibly be big enough to do this legend any justice, so we gave him a stage at Couleur Café for the fifth time. You are all cordially invited.
