With spring just around the corner, Couleur Café is already fueling your summer vibes by unveiling 11 new artists.
Starting with a solid dose of hip-hop with Roméo Elvis and his baritone voice who will be setting Couleur Café on fire for the fourth time. Other local heroes include Isha, one of the kingpins of Belgian rap, and Jazz Brak, who is now going solo after smashing it at almost every Belgian festival with his rap group STIKSTOF. The last asset, Flohio, is one of the finest gems of the British rap scene.
For some sunny afro tunes we've got Fireboy DML and Innoss'B. The first is one of the hottest Nigerian artists of the moment, who blends R&B and afrobeats like none other. While the latter, Innoss'B, is a Congolese afrobeats prodigy with a firm live reputation.
The Dominican Yendry and her mix of pop, R&B and Latin music, might well become of one this year's finest discoveries. The Californian SOJA will enchant you with their refreshing and timeless sounds of roots reggae, like they already did at Couleur Café 2011 and 2015. To keep the vibe rolling, Couleur Café also presents Jamaican Mortimer who'll conquer many hearts with his romantic contemporary reggae.
Finally, Couleur Café is pleased to welcome the legendary Iration Steppas, who will be blasting progressive techno-dub all over the place. And to conclude this fiery announcement: Neue Grafik Ensemble, a sublime cross-over between jazz, house and hip-hop, all marked by African influences. In other words, all the things we love!
Unfortunately, Tiwa Savage has announced that she will not be there on Saturday 25/6. Her show has therefore been cancelled. More artists will follow soon!
In the meantime, the very first edition of Couleur Café Club is now 75% sold out.
