22 new gems just dropped for Couleur Café 2025!
On Friday, Baloji will open the Red Stage with an inspired blend of afrobeat, hip-hop, electro and Congolese rhythms. He will be followed by Kin'Gongolo Kiniata, whose danceable sound, crafted from recycled objects and influenced by rumba and punk, is sure to surprise. The Marseille-based collective Maraboutage will bring contagious energy with a sharp mix of baile funk, dancehall and gqom.
The day's programme will also feature Mala, a leading figure of the UK dubstep scene, and Toya Delazy, a unique Afro Rave artist at the crossroads of Zulu and London cultures.
On the Black Stage, Brussels and Antwerp's music scenes will collide in a B2B set featuring O'SIMMIE and Kevin Kofii.
On Saturday, festivalgoers can catch the six rising stars of Niveau4, Couleur Café's hip-hop, RnB, soul, afro and Latin collective since 2016. Set to perform: K.ZIA, K1D, Bryan MG, Drea Dury, Camille Yembe and Gotti Maras.
Singer Bamby will fill the park with the pulse of dancehall, while Crystallmess, who made waves at Coachella alongside Frank Ocean in 2023, will explore the intersections of techno, dancehall and afro-trance.
Closing the day in style, a grand B2B set will unite Rrita Jashari, Clara! and Laryssa Kim for an eclectic mix of underground reggaeton, punk, gqom, afrohouse and shatta. Dub lovers will once again be treated to a powerful lineup with local legends Reggaebus Soundsystem, the dub sound system and bass music fusion of Ondubground, and Tippy I, coming all the way from Saint Croix to shake up Brussels.
On Sunday, the day will take on reggae-dub vibes with a top-tier lineup: some Made in Belgium acts like Reggaebus Soundsystem (back for their second day in a row) and Crucial Alphonso, along with French talents CHATON, Supa Mana and Docta G. From Jamaica, Micah Shemaiah will round out this decidedly roots selection.
On the DJ front, a transatlantic encounter between Brussels and Toronto is on the menu, with a B2B set from Blck Mamba and Bambii blending UK funky, amapiano and baile funk. Another singular offering: susobrino, drawing from both Bolivia and Brussels to craft a sound mixing cumbia, reggaeton and infectious energy. The immersive collective LA CREOLE will also take over the Black Stage for a powerful set at the crossroads of genres and identities, featuring Sylvere and Missy Da Kunt.
Finally, Tshegue, the duo made up of Kinshasa-born vocalist Faty Sy Savanet and Parisian percussionist Nicolas Dacunha, will close the final day with a high-energy afro-punk performance on The Fox stage.
