The Belgian government has decided that VAT on festival tickets will rise from 6% to 12% starting March 1, 2026. Most events will be affected, although some cultural exceptions are still expected.

The measure still needs review by the Council of State and the Constitutional Court and could be adjusted, but ticket prices are likely to go up.

To take advantage of current rates, now is the time to buy your tickets. Once the new VAT is applied, prices will be higher.
