Respect at the heart of the festival

A CARING FESTIVAL đŸ«‚

Once again, Couleur Café is rolling out its CARE program, designed for everyone: audience, volunteers, and staff, without exception. Around fifty trained volunteers, identifiable by their pink t-shirts and balloons, patrol the site at all times to prevent and address any issues: harassment, discrimination, or simply the need to talk. A hotline is available 24/7, including via WhatsApp, at +32 470 09 99 01.

The Care Zone, located near Rue du Bien Manger, is open to everyone, with a dedicated breastfeeding area. Safe 'n Sound is also present at the campsite during the day to raise awareness about harm reduction (RDR). At night, from 1:00 AM to 4:30 AM, the Care Zone also relocates to the campsite.

Four partners are reinforcing the initiative:

  • Appelle Alice — for victims of sexual violence: a trained Green Taxi provides free and anonymous transportation to the CPVS (Sexual Violence Victim Care Center) at Saint-Pierre Hospital. Two pickup points on-site: near the campsite and at the festival exit, at 02 349 44 22.
  • The Sorority — an app to trigger an alert in case of danger
  • Bruzelle — free menstrual products available in the Care Zone and all restrooms
  • MutualitĂ© ChrĂ©tienne — support for the breastfeeding area

The festival charter applies to everyone, without exception.

CONCRETE COMMITMENTS đŸŒ±

150 eco-volunteers work to preserve Osseghem Park throughout the weekend, including 40 who carry out a thorough cleaning of the site every morning. 90% of waste is sorted, and 95% of the remainder is recycled.

A collective effort starts with you: please sort your waste and take care of the park!

All tableware is biodegradable, bars use reusable cups, and decorations are systematically recycled or repurposed after the festival. And this year, your portable ashtray is a recycled film canister sourced from photo shops, which you’ll receive at the entrance.

For all-purpose cleaner, hand soap, toilet cleaner, and skincare products, Couleur Café can count on the support of Planet B and their ecological, biodegradable products Powr and Wondr.

When it comes to mobility, cars are discouraged in favor of greener alternatives: secure and free bike parking, discounts on train tickets, and free late-night shuttle rides back, thanks to the Brussels-Capital Region and STIB.

EAT RESPONSIBLY đŸ„˜

9 food stands are spread across two areas: Rue du Bien Manger, the festival’s historic heart, and La Dalle, a brand-new space debuting this year with ten Brussels-based food trucks. The lineup is resolutely global: Bengali street food, Argentine empanadas, Thai curries, falafels, Congolese dishes, pokĂ© bowls—with at least 50% vegetarian options. Beef and air-freighted products are strictly banned on-site.

This year’s highlight: the Bonanza CafĂ©, a pop-up restaurant co-run by five chefs and a team of young Brussels volunteers recruited with the CAPITAL association. 90% of its ingredients come from unsold supermarket products, sourced in partnership with local actors committed to fighting food waste. Huge thanks to Sligro, Abbatoir, Stalem, No Waste Republic, Cultureghem, Nuu Miso, Fermenthings et Champignons de Bruxelles.
