Would you like to register as a volunteer for the festival setup and/or the festival itself? Then you've come to the right place.

In order to properly receive our valued audience of more than 20,000 people, we rely on many helping hands. Many of you come back year after year for the family atmosphere, the fun encounters, and the knowledge that you help shape the DNA of Couleur Café.

Do you want to go straight ahead and want to register as a volunteer during the festival?

First, create a profile on Eventication. In this video, we show you how to do it successfully.

Do you already have an Eventication account?
Then you can log in and sign up for 2024!

The procedure in a nutshell (check the first question in FAQ below for an extensive explanation):

First, create an account.
Activate your account (check your inbox).
Then, register for the Couleur Café 2024 event.

It may sound complicated, but don't worry, it's not that difficult!

21>27 JUNE and/or 28>30 JUNE

A festival like Couleur Café doesn't set up itself, of course. This requires a lot of energy and time. As many students will still be in exam mode, we would like to make a warm appeal to motivated volunteers who want to come and help with the setup.

When registering on Eventication, you can now also select the days from June 21st to June 27th.

Below is some information:

We start the day at 8:30 am and work ends no later than 5 pm.
There is a one-hour break at noon and a hot meal is provided.
We ask you to come and help for at least 2 days.

N.B .: These rewards only apply to days worked during the setup (June 21st to June 27th).

At the end of your last working day, you should pick up your well-deserved festival and drink tickets at the volunteer reception. For more information about the different tasks during the setup, click here.

FAQ

How do I register as a volunteer during the festival?

Registering as a volunteer during the festival is done through the online platform Eventication.

Click on this link for an easy walkthrough.

STEP 1
Create your own personal profile on Eventication and confirm your account via the link you receive in your mailbox.

STEP 2
Almost there! Go to the event page of Eventication and register for Couleur Café by clicking on the logo.

Complete your registration and then choose the sector in which you prefer to work. You can also select a second choice, in case we are unable to place you in your first choice sector. On the next page, you can put these choices in order of preference. To finish, there is a field where you can provide us with some extra information (preference for colleagues / responsible person / motivation...). We try to take this into account as much as possible.

Your application will be confirmed within the hour, and confirmation of participation will follow a few weeks later. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

How do I register as a volunteer during setup and/or the festival?

All hands on deck for the build-up of Couleur Café! Do you have the time and desire to help us in the run-up to the festival? Register as a volunteer through Eventication.

STEP 1
Create your own personal profile on Eventication and confirm your account via the link you receive in your mailbox.

STEP 2
Almost done! Go to the Eventication event page and register for Couleur Café by clicking on the logo.

Complete your registration and then choose the days you are available during build-up. As a sector, you must check the "assembly crew" option. Then you can write any additional comments and confirm your registration.

Can you work both during the festival and during build-up? Then select the festival days and the days you can work during build-up. On the next page, choose "(de) assembly crew" and the sector in which you want to work during the festival. On the page you see next, you can put these choices in order. Put the job you want to do during the festival first, and "(de) assembly crew" second.

Your application will be confirmed within an hour, and confirmation of participation will follow a few weeks later. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for registering!

Meal around noon
Depending on how many days you have worked, a number of guest tickets and drink vouchers. You can see what you can win in the table below.

You will receive these tickets and vouchers at the volunteer desk, the evening after your last working day.

In case you also work during the festival, you will of course receive the rewards described in the left column. As you will receive a crew bracelet, you could give your earned guest tickets as gifts to friends for example.

What is expected of me as a volunteer?

That you are available for the three days of the festival That you can attend the briefing on Wednesday or Thursday before the festival. The exact time will be communicated later. That you take your tasks seriously, we rely on everyone's goodwill and effort.	That you can come for at least 2 days during the build-up. That you arrive on time and stay until the end of the day. We work from 8:30am until 5pm at the latest. At a human pace, with sufficient breaks and a very nice atmosphere. Also bring good footwear!

What are the tasks I can do?

There are many options here, there is something for everyone.

A small selection:

We are looking for people in the Bar, Safety Crew, VIP, Information Stand, Merchandise, Entertainment, Reception, Band Control...

For more information, we recommend starting your registration via Eventication. After choosing the days, you will see all the 'sectors' with an explanation. If you don't find anything that appeals to you, you can simply close the window without completing the registration.

A lot happens during a day in the build-up. We distinguish different branches:

If you have a preference, you can let us know in the text box you will see at the end of your registration.

Eco-Clean: This team prepares the entire waste management policy, so that the beautiful park does not lose any of its shine.

Infrastructure: This sturdy team provides, so to speak, the walls, roof and furniture of the festival.

Catering: All the people in the build-up also need to eat. If this is your thing, you can help out with this sympathetic team.

Deco: A team of creative and practical minds that embellish the entire site.

Varia: There are still many other large and small tasks that need to be done, in various teams.
